As of January 2020, the renowned French campsite specialists Les Castels and Sites&Paysages have joined forces to market themselves online under a new brand – Le French Time. This newly forged alliance gives customers a choice of 78 different 3, 4 and 5 star sites throughout France, all embodying the very best of the camping experience à la Françaisewith the authenticity of the family holiday few companies are able to offer.

Neither company has lost any of its integrity viz-a-viz their particular specialisation.
The 29 sites of Les Castels, for example, are known particularly for their ‘art de vivre’. Whether it’s a night in a tent under the stars, a week in a tree house or a stay over water in a pilotis, clients appreciate the exceptional position of the sites, the warmth of the welcome extended by the owners and the quality of the stay.
By comparison, the 49 sites of Sites & Paysages, created in 1982, have a very strong connection to nature and the ‘terroir’. The importance of the environment and the eco-friendly measures used to protect their natural surroundings are a strong feature of the group, however they are far from a standardised product: all sites having a flair and originality of their own.
